OPERATION MINCEMEAT was a World War Two deception plan designed to mask the planned allied attacks in Sicily. The Top Secret plan has been the subject of several books, two films and a West End Comedy Musical, not all of which are historically accurate!
There still remains controversy over the full details of the Operation. This talk will outline the operation and discuss some of these controversies that continue today.
